In the article from the ecoseed website Asia is only now ready for ESCO’s, citing expertise from India, but is the economy?
Signing a contract whether with an ESCO for energy services, or any other supplier always carries some element of risk, particularly when the underlying economy could be characterised as somewhat unstable.
Locally we have witnessed manufacturers in the PRD region been hit hard, an empty order book is a more serious concern. Therefore whilst it might be sensible to save energy, undertaking a long term ESCO contract, say for five (5) years, is not exactly a high priority in today’s marketplace.

We held our AGM on 28 Sept. 2009, we must once again thank the Hong Kong Productivity Council for hosting our meeting.
Heavy rain may have effected the turn out, leaving more cakes for those who braved the weather. However we had one more surprise, some awards.
